Editorial policy

How Nanyana approaches listening, reporting, interviews, corrections and uncertainty.

Nanyana Independent Music editorial material.

Nanyana begins with a question rather than a keyword. We listen closely, describe context, and separate what a page observes from what it infers. A review can be concise without pretending that taste is a measurement; a scene report can be useful without claiming to represent an entire city.

Interviews should respect an artist’s time. Questions are prepared, follow-ups stay connected to the answer, and edits should preserve meaning. We avoid invented quotes, invented access, inflated audience claims and descriptions that cannot be checked.

Corrections and updates

When a factual error is identified, we review the source and correct the page as needed. Readers can report an issue through [email protected]. Disagreement with a judgment is welcome, but it is not presented as a factual correction.
