Jason, a native of Atlanta, Georgia started his musical journey as a drummer at the age of 8. He began a music career on the thriving blues scene and as of late has played with Blues legends such as Tinsley Ellis and Taj Mahal. He performed and toured the world abroad with the Mudcat Blues Band and recently wrote guitar tracks for Arrested Development's forthcoming album. He cites main influences as Stevie Wonder; Earth, Wind and Fire and Santana. In his early 20's, Jason began to play guitar as his main instrument and was able to make the transition with effortless ease. He found this to be the best way to express himself musically, writing songs with texture, rhythm and soul. Jason, affectionately referred to as, "The Bird", has a personality and wit that comes through in his original compositions, which are electrified with the same pomp and charisma he carries in his everyday life. |
