I'd always been involved in the music scene in one form or another and suddenly I found myself with all the right tools and technology to build a music site. IndieFan is a "for us by us" site. Somewhere in Georgia, on the road between Bluesville and Rock City, lies the village of NANYANA. Although NANYANA takes it's name from the beautiful lead-singer this is a five-piece and all 5 are critical to their unique sound. Blending elements of funk, jazz, blues and rock NANYANA music is a new flavor and deserves it's own spot on the menu. The sound is sometimes angry, sometimes sweet and sometimes off the chart. Young groups from the Atlanta area need to check out a NANYANA show for a quick lesson in "How to play as a band". The vocals key off the beat which blends with the guitars - tight and smooth.
